The YMCA provides child care for kids of all ages with our Child Care, Preschool, School Age Care and Summer Programs.

YMCA membership is not required to participate in any of our educational programs for kids.
Y programs are for children ages six weeks through eighth grade. Get details on the areas of focus, a typical day and available programs for infants, toddlers and school-age children.
Nine metro Early Childhood Learning Centers provide full-day, year-round child care options for children ages six weeks to five years.
Three area Preschools prepare kids two to five years old for school with part-day readiness programs during the school year.
Our partnerships with local school districts offer before- and after-school care and school-release day options for kids in kindergarten through sixth grade at dozens of locations across the Twin Cities.
